Calthorpe remains committed to providing the best service possible to the local community. Through a range of activities based around sustainability, mental and physical well-being, food growing, composting and many more

Looking ahead, we want to keep improving our offering to those who live nearby with enhanced food and food growing, better opportunities for local shops and businesses and improved facilities for all that walk through the gates at Calthorpe. Our aim is to make great improvements to the garden and invest in the Calthorpe buildings, which will be complimented by the new Dementia Research Institute being built next-door and a new cycle highway being built on Gray’s Inn Road.

We currently rely on grants funding a lot of our work, so we are aiming to be more self-sufficient to combat the likely increase in competition for grants that will occur in the coming months. We will look to increase our offering to the local community and businesses so that we provide a much needed service. We want to focus our offering on improving public health, both physical and mental, by providing a high quality garden oasis for the public to enjoy.
